In Lagos, the brand on the equipment matters, but not as much as who installs and maintains it. A premium brand with poor installation and absent after-sales support will underperform a mid-range brand with proper installation and responsive maintenance.
Our research shows that brand matters more for hospitals, hotels, malls, and Grade A offices. It matters less in mid-market residential, where the contractor's recommendation and support quality often dominate the decision. The real question is whether the contractor has parts access, local technicians, and urgency after handover.
