Our story
Founded in 2022 to solve a simple problem
Synkit Engineering Limited was incorporated in January 2022 and headquartered at 52B Yakoyo Road, Ojodu, Lagos State. We started with a straightforward observation: too many Lagos buildings had elevators, HVAC, and electromechanical systems that were installed and then left without reliable support.
The problem was not a lack of engineering companies. It was a lack of engineering companies that stayed responsive after handover. Equipment would get installed, the vendor would collect payment, and then the phone calls would go unanswered when something failed six months later.
We set out to build an engineering company that does the work properly and stays available afterwards. That means proper testing and commissioning during installation. It means structured preventive maintenance rather than reactive panic when things break. And it means answering the phone when a facility manager calls because a lift has stopped or the cooling has failed.
Since 2022, we have focused on doing exactly that, installing, maintaining, modernising, and repairing the building systems that keep properties running in Lagos. Lifts that move safely, cooling systems that perform properly, and electromechanical infrastructure that gets support after installation, not just during it.
